Rajasthan - Case against Union Minister, two MLAs of Sachin Pilot camp Vishvendra Singh and Pandit Bhanwarlal Sharma suspended from Congress

Today the Congress party did a big blast. Two MLAs of the Sachin Pilot camp, Vishvendra Singh and Pt. Bhanwarlal Sharma, have been suspended from the Congress. The reason for the suspension is associated with the audio case. The Congress alleged that the investigation revealed that rebel MLAs were conspiring with the BJP against the Ashok Gehlot government. Congress MLAs Vishvendra Singh and Pandit Bhanwarlal Sharma have also been suspended from the primary membership of the party.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that two audio recordings have surfaced in which Bhanwar Lal Sharma was heard discussing with BJP leaders. The party claims that one of the voices is that of Mr. Shekhawat, a senior BJP leader from Rajasthan and Union Minister for "Jal Shakti".

Shekhawat said, "I am ready to face any investigation. I do not have a voice in the audio. I will definitely go if I am called for questioning."

Pt. Bhanwarlal Sharma has denied the allegations. When the audio tape surfaced on Thursday, he called them fake and said it was not his voice.

The Congress has demanded that the allegations be investigated by the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group, which reports to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
